Dear Pastor James

I really enjoyed your message on the Vertical Church tour the other night in New York City. It was great being able to hear you in person.

Your message gave me a new appreciation for my own church and our pastor. We have a “vertical church”. Our pastor is deeply committed to reaching lost people, impacting the city and bringing kingdom dominance. He has a true shepherd’s heart like you and he cares about pleasing God more than people. Because of that, a lot of people left the church when he started preaching “hard” messages that offended them. I was able to encourage him after hearing your message.

I bet you guys could be great friends if you both lived in the same town but since you will probably never meet this side of Heaven, he will have to look you up when you both get there! (By the way, his name is James too.)
